In December of 2017, The Suffolk County Legislature passed changes to Article 6 of the Suffolk County Sanitary Code. These changes require that septic industry activity, such as pumping and repairs of existing systems, be reported to the Suffolk County Department of Health Services. This meeting will unveil the Departments new database portal and train the industry on how to comply with these new requirements. This meeting is being offered free-of-charge. Continuing Education credits towards your liquid waste license renewal will be provided.
